Quito Ecuador

Quito, as Ecuador is popularly known, has continued to burn itself into the minds of South Americans - whether through its tropical rainforests, cloudy forests or its beautiful beaches, Quito has so many great things to offer that it is difficult to pick a favorite. From the high Andean peaks of the Andes to the lush tropical jungles of Ecuador, there is such a wide range of great places that they are called "Towering Andes Peaks" in Latin America and even in the United States of America. From the Andean peaks and the vast tropical forests of Colombia to the lush subtropical jungles of Peru, Quitto also has plenty of great things to look out for, from the high and majestic mountains of Brazil and the vast tropical jungles of Venezuela to such an amazing variety of cool places that it's hard for me to pick a favorite.

Quito is the perfect place to explore Ecuador, as although it is very centrally located, there are numerous outdoor activities throughout the city. This is where most tours are organized, and it is also home to many of Ecuador's most popular tourist attractions, such as the National Museum of Natural History.

If you want to climb the Andes of Ecuador, Quito is the perfect place to acclimatise before you head to higher ground. There is a lot to do in and around Quitito, and if you are on a Galapagos or Eco-trip - themed trip to Ecuador take your time for some of them. If you plan to spend a few days in Quito to start your Ecuador trip, you will have the opportunity to acclimatize in the city before setting off, or even for the first few days of the trip.

During the day you can also walk around freely and socialize with friends (see our safety tips for the night in Quito below). If you spend more time in Ecuador than just in Quitito, do yourself a favor and plan your time in Banos Agua Santa, which is several hours south of Quitito. Banos is the capital of extreme sports, just a few kilometers north of the city, so go there for a weekend with a few friends.

Although Quito is only 25 kilometers from the equator, it suffers from a long winter like the one in the High City Mile. In fact, the equatorial line runs 35 km north of Quitito, so it would be a shame not to go there.

There are many things to do in Quito, but Mitad del Mundo is still one of the best things I have done in Quito. If you are on a Galapagos trip or an Amazon adventure, Quittito is the perfect base for day trips.

This is because Ecuador is a small country and Quito is pretty well located in the center, so if you are wondering how many days to spend in Quittito, you will probably want to explore it for 1-2 days. You can also watch my Ecuador travel video here and view the receipt package from Metropolitan Touring to plan your trip to Quit Ecuador. Ecuador's equator crosses the city of Mitad del Mundo, one of the country's most popular tourist destinations.

Take the cable car from Quito to an incomparable viewpoint that overlooks the city itself in all directions. The Quittito cable car, the most popular tourist attraction in the world and one of the most scenic in the world.

Of course you have breathtaking views of the entire city of Quito and in good weather you can even admire the majestic Cotopaxi volcano and the slightly further away Cayambe. To visit the volcano from Quitto, we recommend a 2.5 hour drive and a guided tour. Go to Quitumbe Bus Station, located south of Quito, and take an Ecovia bus. If your flight to Ecuador arrives late at Quitito airport or you have an early morning flight, the best of all Quita airport hotels is the Wyndham Hotel.

The gallery is a place where you can find handmade and artful handmade artworks by local artists and artists from all over the world. Quito, Ecuador is known for its restaurants and cafes with their coffee beans inside and their art.

Quito is also part of the so-called Middle World, the world in which the equatorial line is 1,000 meters above sea level. It is lower than La Paz, the capital of Bolivia, which is located at 3,650 m (+ 1.76 m). Quito is the second highest mountain in the world after the Great Pyramid of Giza in Egypt. The basilica is open to the public during the day and visitors can climb the 150-metre-high tower from which you can see the city of Quitto from above. Some fun activities in Ecuador, such as hiking, mountain biking, fishing, hiking and camping.
